Key Responsibilities

As a Loan Credit Officer, your main duties will include:

• New Loan Application Credit Appraisal: Conducting thorough evaluations of new loan applications to determine creditworthiness.
• Debt Collection on Delinquent Accounts: Implementing strategies to recover overdue payments from clients.
• Management of Third Parties: Overseeing and coordinating with external parties for efficient debt recovery and compliance.
• Management Report Writing: Preparing detailed reports on credit operations and performance metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

• A Degree or Diploma in a Business-related field, with additional training in finance, banking, or similar disciplines.

Key Skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to decipher complex financial data from various sources.
• Proven experience in credit appraisal and debt collection processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing comprehensive reports.
• Proficiency in financial management software and tools is an added advantage.

Experience

• At least three (3) years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in the finance sector, with a track record of successfully managing credit operations.
