Key Responsibilities
As the Key Accounts Representative, your primary duties will include:
- Strategy Implementation: Execute set strategies to meet and exceed targets within the assigned portfolio.
- Product Listings: Ensure new products are listed, and codes are circulated across all branches.
- Order Management: Facilitate regular placement of orders by individual shops.
- Promotional Negotiations: Negotiate for promotions and extra displays to drive increased sales.
- Stock Monitoring: Track stock movement and shelf off-take using stock level cards.
- Sales Analysis: Utilize sales data to determine optimal shop quantities, avoiding overstocking.
- Merchandiser Training: Conduct regular training for merchandisers to keep them updated on products and company standards.
- Outlet Visits: Frequently visit outlets to negotiate for increased product space and supervise merchandisers.
- Promotion Oversight: Oversee the implementation of promotions and discounts within the allocated portfolio.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular review meetings with outlet managers to assess and improve performance trends.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve concerns raised by outlet managers promptly.
- Market Monitoring: Monitor competitor activities and emerging market trends to inform strategic adjustments.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by the management.
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and demonstrate the necessary skills:
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing.
- At least 4 years of experience in an FMCG environment, particularly in a key accounts role.

- Proficiency in customer relationship management and business processes.
- Strong selling and communication skills.
- Advanced computer proficiency and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach.

- Assertiveness and the ability to analyze situations effectively.
