Their reach spans the Middle East, North Africa, East Africa, Eastern Europe, and South Asia, with core offices in Nairobi, Tunis, and Beirut.
Voluntās is now accepting applications for the International Analyst Program, a prestigious and purpose-driven opportunity for early-career professionals to immerse themselves in high-impact international development work.
ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL ANALYST PROGRAM
The International Analyst Program is a 12-month immersive, full-time fellowship designed to develop the next generation of analysts in the humanitarian, development, and social research sectors. Starting on August 1, 2025, this cohort will be based in one of Voluntās’ three operational hubs: Nairobi (Kenya), Beirut (Lebanon), or Tunis (Tunisia).
Participants will:
- Be embedded in live projects from day one
- Contribute to real-time problem-solving in complex environments
- Receive structured mentorship and career guidance from senior consultants
- Be exposed to clients, data, and fieldwork across fragile and conflict-affected settings
The program is designed not only to harness and sharpen analytical capabilities, but also to foster ethical leadership, deep purpose alignment, and holistic growth. Many past analysts have successfully transitioned into permanent roles at Voluntās or similar organizations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Analyst, you will be an integral part of the project teams and contribute to a variety of research, advisory, and evaluation initiatives. Your typical responsibilities will include:
- Conducting desk research to support methodology development and policy briefs
- Designing and implementing qualitative and quantitative methodologies for diverse thematic areas
- Analyzing data from interviews, focus groups, surveys, and community perception tools
- Writing analytical reports, case studies, and presentations for clients including the UN, donors, and INGOs
- Drafting proposals and contributing to business development efforts
- Participating in stakeholder interviews and consultations across government, civil society, and private sector
- Supporting internal processes, learning sessions, and organizational strategy workshops

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Voluntās is seeking applicants who are:
- Bachelor’s degree holders (or higher) in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Public Health, Development Studies, or related fields
- Fluent in written and spoken English (native-level fluency required)
Additional Language Assets:
- French, Arabic, Ukrainian, or Russian are strong advantages
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with data visualization and statistical tools (e.g., SPSS, Power BI, Tableau) is a bonus

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
- Monthly Stipend: EUR 900–1000 (based on cost of living per location)
- Stipend Increase: 30% increase after 6 months of satisfactory performance
- Travel Grant: Lump sum to support relocation to program location
- Growth Pathway: High-performing analysts may be offered full-time roles post-program
