Key Responsibilities
As an Inside Sales Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales operations. Your main responsibilities include:
1. Outbound and Inbound Calls
- Make outbound and inbound calls to potential and existing insurance agents to promote our insurance products and services.
- Build strong relationships with agents to foster trust and long-term collaboration.
2. Target Metrics and Goals
- Meet and exceed daily call quotas by securing a predetermined number of appointments.
- Drive attendance to training sessions through strategic engagement and persuasion.
3. Personal Target Management
- Plan and organize your daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to ensure target achievement.
- Regularly seek feedback from supervisors to enhance performance and efficiency.
4. Feedback and Reporting
- Collect feedback from insurance agents during interactions and compile detailed reports.
- Provide actionable insights to support the development of targeted sales strategies.
5. Customer Service Excellence
- Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues to ensure agent satisfaction.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach in all interactions to enhance agent loyalty.
6. Accurate Record-Keeping
- Maintain meticulous records of all agent interactions, including contact details and feedback.
- Leverage data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
7. Collaboration with Business Development Managers
- Work closely with the Business Development team to align your efforts with company objectives.
- Adapt to evolving priorities and support team goals effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or call center roles.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in the insurance industry or familiarity with insurance products and terminology.
- Background in a call center environment is a plus.
Key Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong phone etiquette.
- Proficiency in typing and basic computer applications.
- Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrated ability to prioritize agent needs and satisfaction.
- Attention to Detail: Capable of creating precise and insightful reports.
- Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
