The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) is a statutory body established under the Independent Policing Oversight Authority Act, Cap. 86, Laws of Kenya to provide civilian oversight over the work of the National Police Service (NPS). IPOA is committed to promoting professionalism, accountability, and transparency in policing, ensuring that law enforcement operates within the confines of the law.

1. Senior Assistant Director, Legal Services
- Position: Senior Assistant Director, Legal Services
- Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advisory services to IPOA and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
- Manage and oversee litigation involving IPOA, including liaising with external legal counsel.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Formulate and implement legal policies and frameworks for IPOA operations.
- Lead a team of legal professionals and oversee legal compliance matters.
2. Assistant Director, Investigations
- Position: Assistant Director, Investigations
- Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and supervise investigations into police misconduct.

- Train and mentor investigation officers to uphold IPOA standards.
