Key Responsibilities

As an ICT Intern, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that provide foundational experience in IT infrastructure and operations. Key duties include:

  • Configuration & Deployment of firewalls, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points (Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, MikroTik, D-Link, etc.).
  • Utilizing monitoring tools to ensure network performance, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Supporting end-users with LAN and WAN issues in coordination with IT teams and service providers.
  • Managing the local domain structure, users, rights, and privileges using LDAP.
  • Configuring and maintaining PABX systems and telephones, collaborating with service providers as needed.
  • Installing and managing the Enterprise Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) in partnership with the enterprise administrator.
  • Supporting and maintaining the Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform.
  • Creating and maintaining network documentation, including diagrams and technical guides.
  • Performing other assigned duties as required to ensure ICT operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications and possess relevant skills:

Mandatory Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN).

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar.
  • Familiarity with networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, and access points).
  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or macOS.

Special Conditions

  • Ability to travel on short notice as required.
  • Flexible working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
