Key Responsibilities
As a Human Resource Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing Payroll Systems: Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including compliance with taxes, deductions, and withholdings.
- HR Data Management: Maintain and update employee records with precision and confidentiality.
- Supporting Recruitment Processes: Assist in sourcing, screening, and onboarding new employees.
- Policy Enforcement: Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Time Management and Attendance: Monitor and manage employee attendance and time records.
- Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related issues.
- Document Preparation: Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
- Training Coordination: Support the implementation of training and development programs.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure HR processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Other Administrative Duties: Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven Experience: At least two years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of payroll systems and software.
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of payroll taxes, deductions, and withholdings.
- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
- Discretion: Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Certification: A valid certification in Human Resources (e.g., IHRM) is a plus.
