Key Responsibilities
As an HR Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting HR operations and ensuring the seamless execution of people-related processes. Your main duties will include:
- Training & Development: Develop and maintain the annual learning and development calendar. Organize and implement training programs to foster skill development and professional growth.
- Employee Onboarding: Ensure new hires transition smoothly into their roles by conducting weekly follow-ups during their first month and addressing concerns promptly with line managers.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and master data. Develop and update HR dashboards to track key metrics such as turnover rates and headcount.
- HR Analytics: Collect, compile, and analyze HR data from multiple sources, including surveys, exit interviews, employment records, and labor statistics, to generate actionable insights.
- Survey Management: Design, manage, and analyze employee surveys to measure engagement and satisfaction.
- Talent Management: Coordinate and support talent development initiatives to nurture high-performing teams.
- Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with line managers to set objectives, issue job descriptions, and communicate expectations effectively.
- HR Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to management.
- Leave Management: Monitor employee leave records and generate regular reports.
- Policy Guidance: Provide employees with clear guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- HR Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the HR budget.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Essential Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a data-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) or Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of accounting principles will be an added advantage.
