KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Flight Attendant Team Lead, your primary duties will include:
- Leadership and Crew Management:
- Supervise and manage the performance of the cabin crew team during flights.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight briefings, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient crew coordination.
- Serve as the cabin crew point-of-contact for flight deck officers and operations control.
- Passenger Service Excellence:
- Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional passenger experiences in alignment with Jambojet’s service standards.
- Address passenger concerns, special needs, and onboard feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of visibility and accessibility throughout the flight.
- Safety and Security Compliance:
- Enforce all safety and security protocols, including routine checks, safety briefings, and emergency preparedness.
- Coordinate with the Captain and flight deck officers on safety matters.
- Manage emergency situations calmly and effectively, guiding crew and passengers as necessary.
- Sales and In-Flight Revenue:
- Promote and monitor onboard sales including meals, snacks, beverages, and duty-free products.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of sales and inventory post-flight.
- Grooming and Brand Representation:
- Enforce company grooming standards for all cabin crew.
- Represent the airline’s image through professional conduct, excellent customer interactions, and teamwork.
- Training and Mentorship:
- Provide mentorship and on-the-job training for new or junior cabin crew members.
- Offer performance feedback and foster a learning culture among team members.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and submit accurate flight reports, incident summaries, and crew performance evaluations.
- Maintain in-flight documentation and ensure compliance with post-flight record requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
To be considered for the Flight Purser role, applicants must possess the following:
- Academic Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Diploma in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or related field.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage.
- Certifications:
- Valid Cabin Crew Member Certificate issued by a recognized authority.
- Additional certifications in aviation safety, first aid, customer service, or emergency procedures are desirable.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- In-depth knowledge of cabin safety procedures and aviation protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
- Familiarity with KCARs, ICAO standards, and relevant aviation regulations.
- Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Use of emergency equipment such as life vests, oxygen masks, defibrillators, fire extinguishers.
- Familiarity with aircraft configuration, cabin operations software, and in-flight sales systems.
- Behavioral Attributes:
- Calm under pressure, attentive to detail, team player, and emotionally intelligent.
