Key Responsibilities
As the Finance & Administration Manager, you will oversee a range of critical functions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Financial Management
- Develop and oversee budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial statements.
- Analyze financial data to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
- Implement strategies to achieve cost efficiency and financial stability.
Accounting
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate computation and filing of tax returns and statutory reports.
- Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
Reporting and Auditing
- Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports for stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and implement recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with Kenyan tax laws, IFRS, and financial regulations.
Risk Management
- Establish and monitor a risk management framework.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain compliance with corporate governance standards.
Office Administration
- Manage office operations, including event planning and logistical support.
- Ensure procurement processes align with organizational policies.
- Optimize vendor and contract management for operational efficiency.
Human Resources
- Lead HR initiatives, ensuring adherence to Kenyan labor laws and company policies.
- Drive employee engagement and foster a positive work culture.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes.
Expected Outputs/Deliverables
- Comprehensive financial and technical guidance to LED Power’s staff and stakeholders.
- Streamlined internal control, procurement, and HR systems.
- Timely and accurate financial reporting mechanisms.
- Efficient stakeholder engagement and representation in financial matters.
- Risk management tools to anticipate and address organizational challenges.

- Education:

- Professional Certifications:
- CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent certification (mandatory).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in finance and administration, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting systems like QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalents.
- In-depth knowledge of Kenyan tax laws, IFRS, and financial regulations.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
