KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and engage with prospective customers within assigned neighborhoods in Kajiado, including Rongai, Kiserian, Ngong, and nearby areas
- Conduct daily door-to-door sales visits to build a robust pipeline of prospects for Poa’s internet packages
- Represent Poa’s brand with professionalism and enthusiasm while educating potential customers about our services
- Adhere to a structured sales process to ensure a high conversion rate and customer satisfaction
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets as defined by the Commercial Department
- Submit daily sales activity reports and maintain a clean, updated sales funnel in the company’s CRM system
- Attend all scheduled field deployments and meetings in full compliance with attendance requirements
- Identify market trends and customer insights and share timely feedback with management for product and strategy improvements
- Collaborate with customer service and technical teams to ensure seamless post-sale support and installation scheduling
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience in business-to-consumer (B2C) environments with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections effectively and close deals
- Self-motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented with a “never give up” attitude
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot is a plus
- Experience in selling internet services, telecom packages, or home-based solutions is advantageous
- Knowledge of low-income and informal settlement dynamics in Kenya is a bonus
- Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Kajiado County or its environs
