Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the interior design and construction markets.
- Promote and sell our diverse range of high-end interior products, including architectural mouldings, natural stone tiles, and more.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of residential and commercial projects, from private renovations to large-scale developments.
2. Client Engagement
- Establish long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and builders.
- Provide personalized consultations, helping clients select products that align with their design vision and budget.
3. Showroom Operations
- Welcome clients to our Nairobi showroom, offering expert advice on our product range.
- Maintain a visually appealing showroom, showcasing our commitment to world-class design solutions.
4. Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging project opportunities.
- Use market insights to enhance your sales approach and meet client demands.
5. Achieving Sales Targets
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets to maximize commission earnings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress.
Qualifications and Skills
Industry Knowledge:
- Proven experience in interior design, architecture, or sales roles, with a strong portfolio of past achievements.
- Familiarity with decorative paints, light tunnels, gypsum works, and related products is a plus.
Sales Expertise:
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the interior design or construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to close high-value deals and build lasting client relationships.
Local Presence:
- Strong connections within the Nairobi design and construction community.
- In-depth understanding of local markets and client needs.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
Self-Motivation and Results-Oriented:
- Highly motivated, proactive, and driven by success in a commission-based role.
- Capable of working independently while meeting deadlines and achieving sales goals.
