Key Responsibilities

As an Exports/Perishables Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing operations to guarantee timely and compliant exports of perishable goods. Key duties include:

1. Order Management
   • Input all received orders into the internal sales tracking system.
   • Send daily pack plans to clients and confirm orders.
   • Liaise with clients to adjust orders in real-time.
2. Client Coordination
   • Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding promotions, delays, or changes.
   • Notify clients about shipping agent flight confirmations, delays, or cancellations.
   • Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve products and services.
3. Logistics and Shipment Management
   • Send shipment documents to clients on the same day of shipment.
   • Work closely with the Planning Coordinator to ensure smooth execution of client orders.
   • Assist in preparing and implementing client-specific promotions.
4. Sales and Reporting
   • Prepare detailed sales reports for management decision-making.
   • Brief the sales team and other stakeholders about critical client matters.
   • Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
5. Team Collaboration
   • Support the Claims Team in resolving client issues related to shipments.
   • Collaborate effectively with the packaging, logistics, and sales teams.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will need:

1. Educational Background
   • Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Sales, Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience
   • 2-5 years in a similar role, preferably in the fresh produce industry.
3. Skills
   • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
   • Strong communication, presentation, and sales abilities.
   • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle a fast-paced environment.
4. Additional Attributes
   • Proven success in managing accounts and fostering sales development.
   • Team player with a proactive attitude.
   • Keen interest in market research and data analysis.
