Key Responsibilities
As the Employee Relations Supervisor, you will:
- Handle employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach in line with company policies.
- Spearhead disciplinary hearings, draft and issue showcause notices, warning letters, separation, suspension, termination, and dismissal letters.
- Manage staff employment contracts, including drafting, issuing, and renewals.
- Maintain accurate records of disciplinary actions by filing necessary documents in staff files.
- Support the Head of Human Resources Department in any assigned HR-related tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
- Degree in Human Resource Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a busy HR setup.
- Proven expertise in handling disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Strong understanding of Kenyan labor laws.
Key Competencies and Skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of integrity and the ability to work independently.
- Team player with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to deliver accurate results efficiently.
