KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Data Clerk – Procurement, your role will involve both strategic support and routine administrative functions within the procurement lifecycle. Below is a breakdown of your core responsibilities:

Maintain Procurement Records: Accurately input, update, and maintain data in procurement databases and documentation systems to reflect real-time information.

Data Categorization and Storage: Organize and classify procurement data and documents in a structured manner for easy access and compliance audits.

Data Validation and Quality Assurance: Conduct regular data verification exercises to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all procurement records.

Error Identification and Correction: Detect, document, and correct data discrepancies or anomalies in procurement entries and reports.

Support Process Improvements: Analyze trends and generate insights that support procurement decision-making and enhance workflow efficiency.

Handle Sensitive Information: Safeguard procurement and supplier data with discretion, maintaining strict adherence to data confidentiality policies.

Educational Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Information Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Professional Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role involving data entry, records management, or administrative support in a procurement or supply chain context.
Technical Proficiency

Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel (including use of formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and basic data analytics functions).
