KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive company executives, clients, and guests in a safe and professional manner while maintaining a courteous and service-oriented attitude.
• Ensure the assigned vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and in roadworthy condition. Conduct routine inspections to detect any mechanical issues and report them for immediate servicing.
• Plan and optimize travel routes to avoid delays, minimize travel time, and accommodate last-minute schedule adjustments.
• Monitor traffic and weather conditions to proactively adjust routes, ensuring smooth and efficient journeys.
• Maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion when transporting executives, high-profile clients, or sensitive company materials.
• Follow all Kenyan road safety rules and traffic regulations to ensure a secure driving experience for passengers.
• Assist with additional logistics and transportation needs such as running official errands, managing deliveries, and coordinating pick-up schedules.
• Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks, including oil, brakes, tires, and fuel levels, ensuring everything is in excellent working condition.
• Communicate any transport-related issues to the company promptly, such as route disruptions, vehicle concerns, or scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of alternate routes, emergency exits, and high-security areas to ensure safe and efficient travel at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Valid Kenyan driver’s license with a spotless driving record.
• Proven work experience as a personal driver, executive chauffeur, or in a similar role. Experience driving high-profile clients is an added advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of Nairobi’s road network, alternate routes, and traffic patterns. Familiarity with surrounding regions is a plus.
• Understanding of Kenyan traffic laws and road safety protocols to ensure full compliance at all times.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with company executives and clients.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to stick to schedules while being flexible when necessary.
