Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Manager to take charge of Guinness’ strategic brand marketing in Kenya. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who is passionate about brand growth, consumer engagement, and market leadership. As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the brand’s five-year growth plan, enhancing customer experience, and executing omnichannel marketing strategies to drive brand success. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the strategic brand plan to drive market share and revenue growth for Guinness.
- Lead omnichannel marketing initiatives, including media planning, brand activations, and cultural engagement strategies.
- Analyze consumer insights and market trends to craft innovative marketing strategies and product positioning.
- Manage innovation projects, ensuring successful product launches, pipeline development, and marketing execution.
- Oversee advertising campaigns, media buying, and promotional strategies to enhance brand presence.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies across retail and trade channels.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust marketing strategies to maintain Guinness’ leadership in the market.
- Optimize digital marketing campaigns, including paid media, social engagement, and influencer collaborations.
- Manage brand budgets and ensure optimal allocation of resources for marketing initiatives.
- Develop brand partnerships and sponsorships that align with Guinness’ positioning in the Kenyan market.
- Track and report brand performance metrics, using insights to refine marketing strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong background in advertising, brand development, and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills for consumer insight-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Experience working with creative and media agencies to drive impactful campaigns.
- Proven track record in launching and managing successful brand campaigns.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
