Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy Development
- Define and implement comprehensive brand strategies to ensure sustained growth in the competitive FMCG sector.
- Conduct market analysis, gather consumer insights, and perform competitive assessments to guide brand positioning and identify new opportunities.
- Develop annual and long-term brand plans, aligning with the organization’s strategic objectives.
2. Brand Communication and Marketing Campaigns
- Lead the creation of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and retail.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging.
- Oversee the production of promotional materials, ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines.
3. Product Lifecycle and Portfolio Management
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from development to market launch and ongoing evaluation.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to drive product innovation and ensure market readiness.
- Assess product performance and make recommendations for improvement, modification, or discontinuation as necessary.
4. Budget and P&L Management
- Oversee brand budgets, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic objectives.
- Maximize ROI for all branding activities while maintaining profitability and efficiency.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on brand goals and execution.
- Work closely with external agencies and media partners to implement marketing strategies.
- Coordinate with digital and social media teams to boost brand visibility and engagement.
6. Market Research and Insights
- Lead initiatives to gather actionable consumer and market data, utilizing insights to refine brand strategies.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, adapting tactics to maintain a competitive edge.
7. Leadership and Team Management
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Encourage cross-functional teamwork and provide leadership to ensure the success of branding projects.
Key Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Brand Manager or Marketing Manager within the FMCG industry.
Skills
- In-depth understanding of consumer behavior, brand development, and marketing strategy.
- Proven ability to lead integrated marketing campaigns both online and offline.
- Expertise in data analysis and using insights to inform decisions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools is an added advantage.
- Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
