Key Responsibilities

As an AC Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Installing new air conditioning systems and components to meet operational needs.
• Performing routine maintenance on AC systems to ensure peak performance.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults in air conditioning systems.
• Replacing or repairing defective components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
• Providing customers with cost estimates for repair and installation services.
• Cleaning and replacing air filters regularly to maintain system efficiency.
• Inspecting and testing AC systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or repair needs.
• Carrying out other tasks as assigned by the leadership team.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or a related field.
• Proven experience in AC repair and installation, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components in AC systems.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with industry tools and diagnostic equipment.
