This opportunity is ideal for professionals with at least two years of experience in welding and a strong understanding of industrial machinery and equipment. Successful candidates will contribute to the maintenance, assembly, and welding processes critical to the company’s production line.

KEDA (Kenya) Ceramics Company Limited is the largest ceramic tile manufacturing company in Kenya. Located along Namanga Road, 6 km from Kajiado town, the company specializes in the production of high-quality ceramic tiles. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform welding tasks across various departments using welding torches and arcs.
• Analyze defective equipment, identify faults, and report issues to supervisors.
• Administer and weld clamps, holding bolts, and other components per specifications.
• Operate manual welding machines and melt metals for various industrial processes.
• Monitor welding procedures to prevent shrinkage and material distortion.
• Ensure compliance with all welding specifications to produce defect-free work.
• Maintain clean and smooth weld joints for a polished final product.
• Maintain and operate disc grinders for cleaning and metal grinding tasks.
• Utilize manual and automated welding equipment efficiently.
• Analyze the speed and length of welding arcs for various processes.
• Assemble metal components using power and hand tools.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a welder.
• Strong knowledge of welding machinery, electrical tools, and manual equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and designs.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.
• Proficiency in gas cutting techniques.
