Key Responsibilities

As an English Literature Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English Literature for Grades 7–9, adhering to the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
• Assess and monitor student progress through tests, assignments, and feedback mechanisms.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and creativity.
• Inspire students to explore their interests in literature and develop critical thinking skills.
• Actively collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and teaching methods.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree with a specialization in English Literature from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• At least five years of teaching experience in a recognized school, preferably one delivering the CBC framework.
