This position is onsite at our facility located 6 kilometers from Kajiado town along Namanga Road.

Key Responsibilities

As a General Ledger Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the company’s financial records. Your duties include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts.
• Analyzing financial data and providing insightful financial recommendations to management.
• Ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory standards in financial reporting.
• Managing the collection and filing of sales materials and relevant financial documents.
• Defining and tracking product and operational costs across various business functions.
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating with leadership on ad-hoc tasks and special accounting projects as required.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following qualifications and skills:

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Proven technical accounting skills with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP Systems.
• Experience working with accounting software to streamline financial operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and international accounting standards.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex financial data effectively.
