Key Responsibilities:

As an Internal Information Systems Auditor, your main duties include:

• Conducting comprehensive general and application reviews of computer information systems.
• Evaluating system development standards, operating procedures, and system security controls.
• Performing information control reviews, including programming controls, communication controls, backup procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Reviewing internal controls and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and security.
• Developing and administering risk-focused reviews for IT systems.
• Collaborating with departments to improve security compliance, manage risks, and boost operational effectiveness.
• Preparing detailed audit planning memoranda, audit programs, and supporting documentation.
• Delivering precise and comprehensive oral and written reports for management.
• Following up on audit findings to ensure timely and effective corrective actions.
• Staying up-to-date on current technological trends and advancements in information systems and cybersecurity.
• Conducting operational, compliance, and investigative audits as assigned.
• Performing other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly desirable.
• Fresh graduates with the required academic background are encouraged to apply (experience is a plus).

Knowledge and Abilities:

• In-depth knowledge of current technological trends and developments in information systems and cybersecurity.
• Experience in systems/cybersecurity audits is preferred.
• Strong ability to gather and analyze data, compile information, and prepare detailed reports.
• Familiarity with auditing concepts and principles.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity laws and regulations.
• Competency in performing operational, compliance, and investigative audits.
