This role is onsite at our ENS Kenya office and includes opportunities for international exposure, including travel to South Africa for induction training.

Key Responsibilities

As a participant in the ENS Pupillage Programme, you will:

  • Work on high-stakes legal matters involving complex transactions and innovative solutions.
  • Participate in client engagements, offering inspired solutions under supervision.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and opinions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Collaborate with teams on cross-border legal matters.
  • Attend group training sessions to enhance professional skills.
  • Leverage ENSafrica’s extensive resources, including the fully equipped Infohub Library.
  • Receive mentorship from senior attorneys to facilitate your transition from university to the legal profession.
  • Contribute to the firm’s ongoing commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Senior Secondary School Certificate
  • A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institution
  • Enrollment or completion of the Kenya School of Law
  • An excellent academic record, showcasing strong legal knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master of Laws (LLM) degree is an added advantage
