Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our machinery, equipment, and facilities. Your duties include:

1. Preventive Maintenance:
   • Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment failures.
   • Identify potential issues and take proactive measures to address them.
2. Repair and Troubleshooting:
   • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in production equipment.
   • Execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
3. Equipment Installation and Upgrades:
   • Assist in the installation of new machinery and upgrading existing systems.
   • Ensure all installations comply with company standards and regulations.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
   • Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance schedules.
5. Safety Compliance:
   • Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with health and safety standards.
   • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols.
6. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with operations and production teams to address equipment needs.
   • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and servicing.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in mechanical or electrical maintenance is an advantage.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of industry-standard safety practices and regulations.
