INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

MOGO is seeking enthusiastic and driven Sales Officer Interns across multiple Kenyan regions to support sales operations. The intern will gain hands-on experience selling MOGO’s full range of financing products while managing customer relationships and loan processing.

This internship is ideal for business students and graduates looking to develop a career in financial sales, client relationship management, and automotive financing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively sell MOGO financial products to new and returning customers
• Promote both new and used car, motorcycle, and three-wheeler financing packages
• Guide clients through the loan application and approval process
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and meets MOGO standards
• Handle administrative tasks such as inspections and pricing updates
• Manage and follow up with inbound sales leads and inquiries
• Ensure compliance with MOGO’s sales process and quality standards
• Work toward and achieve regional branch sales targets
• Execute any other tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year sales experience (financial or automotive sector preferred)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of customer engagement tools and digital systems

Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities
• Problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking
• Organizational and time management capabilities
• Professionalism, integrity, and loyalty
• Flexibility and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Language Requirements

• Fluency in English and Kiswahili

LOCATIONS

This role is available in the following regions:

• Nairobi
• Coast
• Western
• Nyanza
