As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and operation of water treatment systems, identifying and engaging potential clients, and ensuring that all water purification solutions meet industry standards and client specifications. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen, making it ideal for an engineer who excels in both system optimization and customer relationship management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Water Treatment System Design & Implementation

• Oversee the design, installation, and operation of Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems and other water treatment technologies.
• Conduct site assessments and provide technical recommendations tailored to client needs.
• Ensure that all water treatment systems comply with water quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Optimize system efficiency, reliability, and maintenance schedules for long-term operational success.

2. Sales & Business Development

• Identify and engage potential clients in the industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, contractors, and industry decision-makers.
• Prepare and follow up on technical proposals, tenders, and quotations for water purification solutions.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive client engagement.

3. Performance Assessment & Troubleshooting

• Conduct performance assessments of installed water treatment systems, identifying potential areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and remotely, ensuring minimal downtime and system efficiency.
• Provide training and technical support to clients on system usage, maintenance, and optimization.

4. Market & Technology Advancement

• Stay updated on new trends and advancements in RO technology and water purification processes.
• Research and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency and sustainability.
• Collaborate with installation technicians on system upgrades and process improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Degree in Engineering (Environmental & Biosystems, Water, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
• Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of RO water treatment systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to optimize filtration and purification processes.
• Knowledge of water treatment regulations and industry standards.
• Technical expertise in water filtration, purification, and RO systems operation.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and convert leads into long-term clients.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
