Switch Media Ltd is seeking a Digital Media Intern to support its social media management efforts. This role will allow the selected candidate to apply their skills in content creation, analytics, and brand communication while working alongside a team of professionals in digital media and production. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Creation & Management
    • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging multimedia content across multiple social media platforms.
    • Optimize content to align with best practices for each platform (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
    • Ensure consistency in brand voice, style, and messaging across all digital channels.
  • Social Media Strategy & Growth
    • Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to drive engagement, follower growth, and audience interaction.
    • Monitor social media trends, competitors, and industry benchmarks to enhance Switch Media’s online presence.
  • Analytics & Performance Tracking
    • Utilize social media analytics tools to track engagement, reach, and performance metrics.
    • Prepare reports with insights and recommendations for content and campaign improvements.
  • Community Engagement & Interaction
    • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from online followers in a professional and timely manner.
    • Foster community engagement by initiating conversations and encouraging audience participation.
  • Collaboration & Team Support
    • Work closely with the digital marketing and creative teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
    • Assist in brainstorming innovative campaign ideas and social media initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands, organizations, or personal projects.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Content Creation: Ability to craft compelling, high-quality social media content (text, images, videos, infographics).
  • Copywriting & Communication: Excellent writing and storytelling skills to engage and inform audiences.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Familiarity with social media analytics tools such as Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, Twitter Analytics, or Google Analytics.
  • Creativity & Innovation: A keen eye for design and trends to enhance brand engagement.
  • Organizational & Time Management Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team and contribute to brainstorming and campaign planning.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced digital environment with evolving trends and strategies.
