KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage client accounts to ensure timely debt recovery, focusing on effective communication and negotiation strategies.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients via phone, email, and in-person visits to resolve outstanding payments.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and develop tailored strategies for improving collection rates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and streamline debt recovery processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and payment statuses using ECLOF Kenya’s proprietary systems.
  • Educate clients on payment options and financial planning to enhance compliance and reduce future delinquencies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively and build trust.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for negotiating with diverse clients across Kenya.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess financial data and develop recovery strategies.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in collections, finance, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of microfinance operations or debt recovery practices in the Kenyan market.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools for tracking client interactions.
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili to connect with a broad client base in Nairobi and beyond.
