  • Public Drinking Tap Water Stations: Collaborating with urban communities to establish public drinking stations, offering free access to clean water while advocating for environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

As a Projects Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating various projects to ensure their successful execution. Your duties will include:

  • Preparing comprehensive documentation, including reports, proposals, and project records.
  • Monitoring project implementation, tracking key timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Coordinating documentation from multiple sources to maintain accurate project records.
  • Tracking project milestones and reporting progress to the International Relations Assistant.
  • Organizing and maintaining project schedules for effective execution.
  • Attending meetings with beneficiaries and partners to assess project requirements.
  • Providing strategic recommendations for project improvement and development.
  • Fostering collaboration among teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Suggesting process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least a second-year bachelor student in a relevant field.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, with a results-driven approach.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Excellent computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Must be between 18 and 30 years old.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in volunteer work or project coordination.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Passion for youth development and community impact.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Willingness to commit a minimum of six months in a volunteer role.
