Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct oral health assessments and provide primary dental care services to patients.
- Diagnose and treat common dental conditions, including tooth decay, gum diseases, and oral infections.
- Provide preventive oral health education and promote dental hygiene awareness in the community.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform minor dental procedures such as extractions, scaling, and fillings.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for tracking and follow-ups.
- Refer complex cases to specialist dentists or healthcare providers when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with dental health regulations and professional standards.
- Supervise and guide junior dental practitioners or interns.
- Participate in outreach programs and health camps to promote oral health awareness.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in Community Oral Health/Dentistry or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Current practicing certificate from the relevant licensing authority.
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical dental setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, treatment techniques, and oral health management.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Active listening skills to better understand patient concerns and provide quality care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring patient satisfaction.
- Proficiency in using modern dental equipment and software.
