Key Responsibilities

1. Manager International Business (KRC 4C)

Develop and execute international reinsurance business strategies.
Foster relationships with global reinsurance clients.
Identify growth opportunities in emerging markets.
Oversee underwriting and claims management for international accounts.

2. Assistant Manager Local Business (KRC 3C)

Manage and expand Kenya Re’s local reinsurance portfolio.
Develop risk assessment models for local businesses.
Ensure compliance with local insurance regulations.
Maintain strong client and broker relationships.

3. Assistant Manager Actuarial (KRC 3C)

Perform risk assessments and financial modeling.
Provide actuarial insights for underwriting and pricing.
Ensure compliance with actuarial standards and guidelines.
Support the development of new insurance products.

4. Senior Actuarial Officer (KRC 3A)

Conduct data analysis for insurance and reinsurance pricing.
Assist in claims reserving and risk assessment.
Develop statistical models to improve financial forecasting.
Support regulatory and financial reporting requirements.

5. Projects Officer (KRC 3B)

Plan and oversee corporate projects from initiation to completion.
Monitor budgeting and financial forecasting for key initiatives.
Ensure compliance with project management best practices.
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

6. Executive Analyst (KRC 3A)

Provide strategic business analysis to senior management.
Conduct market research and financial forecasting.
Assist in policy formulation and implementation.
Develop reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Actuarial Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Insurance, or Risk Management.
Professional certifications in Insurance, Actuarial Science, or Risk Analysis are an added advantage.
Proven industry experience in insurance, reinsurance, financial modeling, or project management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
