Key Responsibilities

As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing a variety of fabrication and welding duties to ensure the smooth operation of factory equipment. Your tasks will include:

• Performing welding and fabrication on factory machinery and structures.
• Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints for precise welding execution.
• Utilizing gas and arc welding equipment to assemble and repair metal structures.
• Ensuring safety compliance by maintaining proper welding procedures and workplace cleanliness.
• Keeping detailed records of completed welding work and inspections.
• Collaborating with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Maintaining welding tools and machinery in top working condition.
• Following industry-standard welding techniques to improve efficiency and durability.

Qualifications & Skills

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Welding & Fabrication from a recognized institution.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or factory setting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to operate welding machinery and hand tools effectively.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to welding and metal fabrication.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control standards.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in industrial welding for heavy machinery and equipment.
• Certifications in welding safety procedures.
• Knowledge of different metal types and their welding properties.
• Basic mechanical engineering knowledge.
