Key Responsibilities
1. Product and Program Needs Analysis
- Gather product requirements and project-level needs for system enhancements.
- Develop and implement technology development strategies tailored to the REAP for Nutrition program.
- Lead innovative technology initiatives to improve program delivery and outcomes.
2. Performance Insight Architecture Maintenance
- Maintain the architectural integrity of the Performance Insight (PI) ecosystem, including Salesforce and Taroworks.
- Enforce design and change processes to preserve architectural consistency.
- Develop and maintain a repository of templates and reusable components.
- Collaborate with Salesforce and Taroworks to apply best practices and maximize value for money.
3. System Development and Customization
- Design, build, test, and deploy custom solutions within Salesforce and related systems.
- Ensure system stability by adhering to development processes and policies.
- Communicate changes proactively to users and provide comprehensive training.
- Administer Salesforce updates, create custom objects, and maintain dashboards and reports.
- Develop workflows and configurations to optimize system performance.
4. Security and Data Integrity
- Monitor user access and manage Salesforce roles, profiles, and hierarchies.
- Maintain data security, including sharing rules and permission levels.
- Archive data to ensure optimal storage usage.
- Handle user licenses and reassign accounts as needed.
5. Technology Support and Training
- Provide responsive technology support to REAP for Nutrition teams.
- Lead training sessions for new and existing users to enhance system adoption.
- Explore new ways to utilize Salesforce in support of program goals.
- Communicate regularly with users about system enhancements.
6. Process Documentation
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including workflows and field maps.
- Create new processes and associated reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure proper documentation for data migration and system transitions.
7. Data Quality and Maintenance
- Oversee data migration processes from legacy systems to Salesforce.
- Monitor and improve data quality by managing duplicate records and exception logs.
- Import and export data to meet program needs.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with M&E, Data & Insight, and other technology teams to ensure seamless support.
- Contribute positively to the product support squad to meet team-level objectives.
9. Additional Responsibilities
- Take on any additional duties as assigned by the Director of IT Solutions to support organizational goals.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics/Statistics, or Business Management.
- 2-3 years of experience in Salesforce Administration or a similar role.
- Expertise in business requirements analysis, systems deployment, and change management.
- Familiarity with the system development life cycle, Agile methodologies, and project management.
- Proficiency in Salesforce development, including APEX and supporting languages like Java.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Salesforce Administration.
- Deep understanding of application development languages.
- Experience with Agile Project Management and DevOps principles.
