Key Responsibilities

As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR functions of our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate HR strategies aligned with the organization’s goals.
    • Partner with department heads to address HR-related business challenges.
  2. Employee Relations and Compliance
    • Foster positive relationships between employees and management.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  3. Performance Management
    • Oversee the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
    • Support leadership in addressing performance-related issues.
  4. Talent Acquisition and Retention
    • Lead recruitment efforts for key roles to attract top talent.
    • Implement initiatives to enhance employee retention and engagement.
  5. Compensation and Benefits
    • Design competitive compensation structures aligned with industry benchmarks.
    • Administer payroll and benefits programs effectively.
  6. HR Policies and Systems
    • Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
    • Oversee the HR management systems to ensure efficiency.
  7. Training and Development
    • Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs.
    • Promote leadership development initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  1. Required Qualifications:
    • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) certification.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
    • Active membership with IHRM (Institute of Human Resource Management) in good standing.
  2. Experience:
    • A minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience in a 4/5-star hotel environment.
  3. Key Skills:
    • Expertise in Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Talent Acquisition.
    • Strong knowledge of Compensation & Benefits, Employment Law, and Compliance.
    • Proficiency in HR Administration, payroll, and HR systems.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • A people-oriented approach with great interpersonal skills.
