Key Responsibilities
Strategic Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of intermediary management strategies that align with the company’s goals.
- Assist in implementing incentive programs to drive intermediary motivation and business growth.
- Analyze data to monitor intermediary performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory policies.
Operational Responsibilities
- Payroll Management: Process intermediary payrolls for commissions, incentives, and benefits while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Commission Administration: Handle commissions for Retail Life, Corporate Life, and Pensions. Address and resolve intermediary queries efficiently.
- Records Management: Maintain accurate records of commissions, payrolls, and benefits, ensuring timely delivery of statements.
- Query Resolution: Address intermediary inquiries, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Digital Transformation Support: Collaborate in implementing digital platforms to optimize intermediary experiences and communication.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like payroll accuracy and intermediary satisfaction.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks in data management and payroll processing.
Corporate Governance Responsibilities
- Stay updated on industry regulations and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational and financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and Kenyan laws governing the insurance industry.
- Promote ethical practices and foster a culture of good corporate citizenship.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in payroll and commission systems.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.

Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Certifications (Preferred): CPA-K, ACCA, Diploma in Insurance, LOMA, CII, or IIK certification.
- Experience: 2-4 years in intermediary management or related roles in the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of commission and payroll processes.
- Familiarity with life insurance and pension products.
